Modern Bridge

GRADUATE STRUCTURAL ENGINEER (REMOTE)

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Contributing to scheme and concept designs.

  • Delivery of detailed structural design including 15% tender and 85% final & construction design.

  • Attendance at client, design and site meetings when required.

  • Liaison with statutory authorities, architects, the design team and contractors.

  • Daily Email and Telephone communication with clients.

What skills and attributes are we looking for:

  • MEng or BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering.

  • A good understanding of structural principles (experience of frame design/connection design software advantageous).

  • CAD experience (Tekla experience advantageous)

  • You must have gained at least 1-2 years of undergraduate/postgraduate industry experience. Please be sure to notify us if you have completed a year in industry, and the skills/experience you gained during this year.

  • Graduate Member of the IStructE and or ICE.

  • Strong communication, analysis, technical design and drawing skills.

  • Basic AutoCAD skills are necessary.

  • Self-motivated with good collaboration skills.

  • Someone ambitious, who believes in our ethos and wishes to be part of our success.

Bridge Inside

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER (PART TIME - REMOTE)

You will be responsilbe for:

​

  • Monitor, review and moderate all user-generated content in social media platforms

  • Maintain our social media platforms compliant with company guidelines and policies. Manage and report on site traffic and user profiles within forums, comments, images, videos and audio.

  • Wow our consumers – provide best-in-class customer support by handling and responding to consumer inquires.

  • Gather, analyse and utilise relevant data to develop ways to improve the overall user experience on the site.

  • Understand consumer needs and provide the best possible resolutions, ensuring the highest levels of consumer satisfaction while demonstrating excellent product knowledge.

  • Builds online connections and facilitates relationships through an effective online presence.

  • Social reporting and analytics – works closely with multifunctional teams, reporting back actionable insights.

  • Stay current on social media news and trends.

The following will be desirable:

​

  • Able to work from Friday to Monday up to a maximum of 18 hours per week.

  • Comfortable and experienced with social media

  • Mature and professional demeanor with proven customer service orientation while viewing and addressing a variety of content and Facebook user situations.

  • Strong English proficiency (Written and Verbal).

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, and a proactive approach.

  • Working operational knowledge and understanding of online community platform moderation tools (Forums, Blogs, Photo Uploads, Commenting etc.)

  • Proven ability to acquire industry knowledge and understand online customer profiles.
